Bustin IBACH 37

The new 37" Ibach is the ‘smaller guy’ version of our do it all machine. Its super low platform makes for a great pusher. The rock solid stiffness all the way through the deck and low ride gives more confidence at speed and will break out into slides easily.

Bustin Ibach 37 yellow-longboard- specs

The classic dropped downhill board has been a staple of most skateboard companies' lineups since it was first invented, and that includes us here at Bustin. Customers still rave about the Ibach. But that's not enough for us. Our biggest critics are ourselves, and when the idea came to us about a new drop shape, we knew it was time to apply it to the Ibach. What we have now is a double dropped downhill deck that is completely unique. It's speed stiff with a tub concave that inspires confidence in any situation, and the drop shape is both ergonomic for the most aggressive riding and inherently stiffer and stronger than any typically dropped deck. It also comes in two different sizes with two concaves designed relatively around larger and smaller feet.

The radius on top of the drop what makes this shape extra special. This curve is designed to build concave back into the neck once the board levels out. A typically dropped deck would also be flat here, and since it is where the neck thins out to create cutouts for the wheels, this is where decks are most susceptible to flex or even break. The 2013 Ibach37 and Ibach39, at only 9 plies of maple over a 28 and 30-inch wheelbase respectively, have almost zero flex.

We’ve also taken into account a growing desire for tight concave, and so packed .7 inches of concave into the 10 and 9.5-inch wide platforms of the Ibach 39 and 37, respectively. That means that the tub on the 37-inch Ibach has a narrower channel and will fit smaller feet more comfortably and functionally.

The Bustin Ibach is built around any RKP trucks, though we recommend Caliber’s on it for DH and fast freeride. For pushing around go with a set of Paris’. Wheel-wise we suggest Royce Premier wheels for speed, and Snipers for getting slideways!
