| Policies & FAQ's What is the Bustin Warranty? At Bustin we engineer and produce top-quality boards for all types of skating and stand behind our products 100%. We are dedicated to the highest levels of quality control and performance and design each of our models to hold up properly for their specified purpose. With that said, skateboarding is an extreme sport and nothing lasts forever. Many variables can play into the life of the board (such as excess moisture and large car tires) and it is important to understand the limits of any longboard. Guarantee. We offer a standard full guarantee against sub-par products, including manufacturer defects, for a period of 3 months. If are unhappy with the performance and/or durability of the board for any reason, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve any issues. With that said, we do not warranty products damaged by normal wear and tear, alteration made by owner, misuse, accidents or damages caused by uses other than intended. And after the 3 month period? We stand behind our boards for life. If you have trouble with your board after the 3 month period, contact us and we'll work with you to achieve a fair solution. Returns. We offer warranty inspection on all our products. If you think your problem falls within our warranty, contact us and we'll arrange to have the board sent to us. We will then evaluate your claim and either repair, replace, or return the product based on our findings. Who do you use for shipping? If you live within the US, your board will ship via UPS and will be in transit from 1-5 business days depending on your location. All International orders ship via USPS (see next question). I live in another country, how can I get a Bustin? Bustin DOES offer international shipping to most countries. We use UPS for all International shipping and prices vary depending on your country. Typically shipping for a complete board can range from $55 - $115 depending on your countries specific UPS rates. Add a board to your shopping cart to see the exact rate to your country. Shipping times to most countries worldwide range between 3-7 business days. Will I have to pay Custom Taxes on International Shipments? The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information. What if I do not like my board? Can I return it? Returns are made on an individual basis, and are only accepted within specific circumstances such as manufacturer defects. Because of the custom nature of our production process, we cannot offer a classic "no questions asked return policy". We put quite a bit of time into custom making your board; we're sure you understand. Please contact us with any issues regarding your new board BEFORE riding it. We cannot accept returns or exchanges of any kind after the board has been ridden except in the case of a structural defect. How do you print your boards? Each of our custom boards is silk screened by hand in the Bustin studio by an individual artist. This means that no two boards will ever be alike, as the styles, techniques and materials used by each of the artists will differ from board to board. Because each board is printed by hand, your board could have very minor imperfections, defining the character and individuality of your board. We triple check every custom board for significant mistakes or blemishes and will not send out a bad print. What kind of setup would you recommend? We offer a complimentary Setup Recommendation Service if you are still unsure. Fill out the form and a member of the Bustin Crew will get back to you with our suggestions on a setup for your size and style. How long before my order ships? Accurate shipping estimates are always displayed at the top of the design page (and generally range from 12-20 business days depending on how busy we are). If you have any questions regarding when your order will ship, please contact us before placing your order. My order status says 'pending'. Is everything okay? Yes, everything is fine. Our shopping cart software sets the default status of an order as 'pending'. An email with tracking information will be sent once your board ships. Can I get a tracking number for my order? Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your board ships. Do you guys have a store? Can I come visit? We opened our flagship longboard store in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. If your coming from lower Manhattan, we are just off the Williamsburg bridge on Grand Street. For store address, hours, pictures and more please visit this like - http://blog.bustinboards.com/?p=554. Can I get a discount? Nope, sorry. (just kidding…kinda) We do not have factory seconds laying around and we can't give you a free board just because you like us (Thanks for that by the way!), We occasionally offer sales on misprints and blems, so check the homepage for the latest. Discounts are available for bulk orders of four or more boards. For more information, please contact us. Is it true you guys throw sick parties? Yes. Yes it is. Everything you've heard is true but lately we are too busy making your boards! I'm working on a school project. Will you help me? Maybe. Depends what you need. Contact us and we'll try our best to help. Do you guys offer full custom graphics? Sometimes, but again we are super busy these days. Send us your ideas, along with images and we'll get back to you on the project's feasibility and a rough cost estimate. Custom graphics start at $50/color, however are dependent on the complexity of the graphic. Prices may change and quotes are all done on an individual basis. I want some stickers! Sweet. Send a self addressed stamped envelope to: Bustin Boards, 340 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211. How can I skate with the Bustin Crew? If you're ever in the area, we're usually out skating all the time in NYC, so pop us an email if you want to meet up. We're also in the progress of setting up monthly rides and other fun events. New events and rides will be posted on our BLOG, so check there for the latest news. Will you sponsor me? We don't really have an official team, but we appreciate talented riders who support our brand. If you think you can impress us, shoot us an email and we'll check you out. Are you hiring or looking for interns? Check out our Career Opportunities page for information on open positions at Bustin. Do you have any dealers? Can I test ride one of your boards? We sell mostly online because of the custom nature of our boards. However, we do work with a select few shops in cities around the world. Ask your local shop if they carry Bustin. How do I carry your boards in my store? For information about becoming a dealer please email Rob at "sales@bustinboards.com". I like your website. Who designed it? Our website is designed and maintained in-house. This year, however, we began sourcing more web work to our good friends over at Walkstar Entertainment. If you want a website like ours, these are the guys to talk to Walkstar Entertainment. You did not answer my question! Please email us at skate@bustinboards.com if you have further questions.
