Bustin Boards was founded in 2001 by a group of skaters in our barn in Hagerstown, Maryland, USA. Our dream was to create technically advanced longboards with original style. All of our boards are made from sustainably harvested Canadian maple and manufactured in the USA. 2. How to Build-A-Board:
Building your perfect board is easy. First choose your board and design from the selection page/>. Then use the buttons on the right and bottom of the page to DESIGN YOUR COLORS, CHOOSE YOUR TRUCKS, CHOOSE YOUR WHEELS AND CHOOSE YOUR BEARINGS. As you adjust your options, you will see the price change to reflect the cost of your current arrangement. You will also see the 'Performance Meter' changing. Use this meter to build the board for your style of riding. Below is a brief explanation of each category within the performance meter. When you done building your board, just click 'Add To Cart'. Design a longboard today.
3. Performance Meter Explanation:
-Down Hill - very fast riding, Normally involving large hills or mountains.
-Carving - highly maneuverable, back and forth riding. Normally for moderate hills or city environments.
-Sliding - when a rider pulls his board out and gets the wheels so that they are not gripping the pavement and can move freely in a slide position.
-Commuting - all around riding. Normally around cities, neighborhoods or college campuses.
-Speed - a general rating for how fast the current setup will be.
-Team Rating - a general rating for the favorite setups of professional riders.
4. How long will it take to get your board?
Our current lead time is posted at the top of the page when you design the board. Each of our custom boards are hand printed and finished. The lead time is the time it takes to make the board and is shown in Business Days (Monday - Friday). Your board will be assembled and shipped by this date and you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number telling you when it should arrive to you. We will begin production of your board as soon as payment clears. We ship internationally using only USPS and shipping times are generally 6-10 business days any where in the world. The average cost for shipping a complete board is $54.00 (US Dollar)
5. Payment Methods:
Bustin Boards accepts payment via major credit card or PayPal. Our shopping cart is a Verified Secure Cart and will protect your credit card information and identity. All payments will be adjusted to the US dollar currency automatically at the checkout page. The customer is responsible for any import taxes that may be applied when the package enters your country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
