Limited Edition Sportster Deck - Austin Navy Graphic

The Bustin Sportster is your everyday commuter, freeride, and mild downhill deck all in one—the one board to take with you everywhere.
The construction on the Sportster is 9-plys of sturdy, Canadian rock maple and is made in our North Carolina manufacturing facility. It is cold pressed for extra strength using our special composite blend glue. After fully curing, the mold is CNC cut and drilled, and the longboard is sanded smooth. The board then goes through a wood finishing process, which includes several cycles of sealing and sanding.

Fantastic Board. Poorly Placed Grip Tape November 19, 2013

Most definitively my favorite board yet. Grip tape though was not done well and is falling off on the end.

LOVE this board! October 9, 2013
Reviewer: theBRiGuy from Toronto, ON Canada
After trying a Bustin Strike a few years ago (36") and then a Landyachtz Switch 35 earlier this summer, both of which fell short of my expectations, I decided I wanted to go back to my roots and get a drop-through longboard shape. I LOVE my Sportster! Placing the trucks right at the end of the board increases the footroom by at least 6 inches, making this board feel identical to a typical 40-42" deck.

I was a little hesitant by the 9-ply spec (lightweight = good in my mind!) but it actually isn't too bad. It looks/feels more like an 8-ply from other manufacturers. Not sure how Bustin packs all those layers into such a thin wood sandwich.

Overall, I highly recommend this board to anyone looking for a compact cruiser that still feels like a longer board. Or, if you've always ridden a flexy board but are looking to try something stiffer without committing to a heavyweight downhiller, I would seriously look at this deck. This is a real winner for Bustin!

Limited Edition Sportster Deck June 3, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Lake Grove, NY United States
AWESOME DECK!!! This is my first drop thru. I have never liked them and have liked boards with rockers even less. A back surgery has made me change everything I do and a super low easy to push board was necessary and this one is perfect for me. Only complaint is a very slight railbite if I dig really hard. It might come down to just swapping out bushings and maybe tighten the kingpin other than that it is the only board I am riding right now because it has pretty much replace all my other boards.
